I got to thinking today about the earliest photo I could find of me. Several years ago I did a massive scanning job of family photos. Some of them I could date, which is always handy. I found one dated April 6, 1950 which was the date it was developed. Anyway, it was of me and my mom when I was two weeks old. As with many photos from the "old days" it was pretty poor. Shot with a poor camera. Many of the photos I scanned from the old days were shot with poor cameras, unfortunately.
I figured I might as well have a go with Topaz since it was clearly out of focus (a pun I believe). It was so bad that Topaz ended up producing lots of artifacts, which it does in these situations. So I went back into Lightroom and started messing with the sliders which helped somewhat. It improved the contrast a lot and I even imagined that there was a little improvement in focus, but I was kidding myself. So, anyway, here is the first photo of me at our apartment on North Lee Street in Bloomington, Illinois. I think it is cool.
