We have had AT&T mobile service for a very long time. We needed an upgrade but found that it was expensive. We have had Xfinity ( nee Comcast, nee Roadrunner) internet service for a long time as well. We had an internet outage last week which Xfinity dealt with efficiently. It included a router/modem upgrade. Turns out we have had the malfunctioning one since 2007. Anyway, as I was talking to the rep he mentioned we should look at Xfinity mobile service, which I did. I found out that it was much cheaper for a good unlimited plan than AT&T. Besides there was a financial incentive to make the switch. In the end it was $95 (40%) cheaper to move to Xfinity than to stay with AT&T.

Simple, right? Well it took four trips to the Xfinity store to make the transition. Getting numbers released, mixed up order and untrained staff were at the root of three days. On the last day we got a guy who said he would make it work. And he did. Good old Austin got things straightened out and we were off. Today's photo is a screen shot from my iPhone proving that we were at last with Xfinity Mobile.
