We had a busy day. We visited Ginny's mom, brother in law Steve and Ginny's friends Dick and Eileen. The only bummer of the day was having to drive into Portland on Highway 26 which is always backed up. Ginny's mom is in assisted living in Forest Grove. She is 99 years old. As we walked in we saw her sitting with her care taker having lunch so we sat down. Ginny had a nice mother's day card and some family photos from 1991. Her mom really liked that. After a while we got chased out of the dining area because visitors aren't allowed to sit at a table with their relatives. So we bugged out and went on our way. Mom said a few words and smiled a lot. We are going back to see her every day we are in Hillsboro.
