Ginny's mom turned 99 years old today. She is in Oregon. Before Covid struck Ginny would go out there and put on a birthday party for her. That isn't possible any more. So the next best thing is a Facetime call. The staff at the nursing home is good about arranging such things. So Ginny pulled out her inflatable birthday cake and we sang Happy Birthday. After that I said we would sing "99 bottles of beer on the wall." and her mom laughed at that. It was a very rewarding birthday party.
