The late afternoon sun was bright and Ginny's azaleas were looking nice. I tried to get a decent photo of a bloom with the sun shining from behind but the effort was fruitless. Walking back into the house I looked up at the big crape myrtle in the front. The sun really lit things up so I had a go at it. The color version was OK, but a contrasty B&W made for a much nicer photo.
