When Ginny and I cook we like to have at least a tiny bit of heat in anything savory that we make. Often that is a small amount of crushed red pepper or a little Louisiana hot sauce. Just enough to notice. For Christmas this year my son Robert gave me a bottle of habanero infused salt packaged like a hand grenade. I have started using it for sauteeing things like onions, peppers, meat, etc. It gives a nice hint of spice and works very well. It doesn't take very much so this bottle will last quite a while.
