Haven't heard much about covid vaccines lately. We qualified for the second booster and scheduled a meeting with the needle this morning. I did some online research about the safety and effectiveness of the Pfizer drug, which is the one we received. If you try hard enough you can find just about any result in that regard. I started out at the CDC. Their "Science Brief" hadn't been updated since September 15, 2021 (seven months if you do the math). There was a lot to read through. Many studies of various different types and geographies. I think the thing that I have no idea about is how good is 91% (or any other figure). So we have adopted a something is better than nothing approach. Stay tuned.
Today's photo is of Ginny getting her injection. I think she is of the opinion that if you close your eyes it won't hurt as much. Works for her.
