We left Alpharetta in the morning enroute to Pensacola to stay overnight with our friends Ken and Mickie. We have known them for a long time, all the way back to Cub Scouts. We just hung out with them and went to the Gulf Islands National Seashore for a nice hike. Mickie is a professionally trained chef and we had some great meals. They had just finished remodeling a big portion of the house and it was very nicely done. Their kitchen is stellar. Of course we had the usual photo.
