We did an airborne test of our smoke systems today. It was part of a youth day camp type program at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum at Hobby Airport. Rodney and Bloke were going to do a formation pass at the museum and Bloke would burn a couple wing tip smoke canisters. It turned out that Rodney's Cherokee developed a problem with the starter so Bloke did a one man show. My job was to photograph the smoke pass so we could analyze it later. The sun was in a terrible position but I got enough photos to figure out what was going on. That was some fun.
