Whenever I go out shooting I use up lots of targets. The reason is I like to see where each string goes without trying to remember where the previous shots landed. I am actually trying to become better at it, but the progress is quite slow. I recently shot the target which is today's photo. It was at 35 feet with my Ruger Mark I .22 pistol. I really like shooting that one. It really is cheap thrills because the ammunition is inexpensive, about 3 1/2 cents per round. Anyway, it is quite a nice group so I pulled down the target and took it home. The harsh reality of my shooting ability is that this result is an anomaly. I got lucky. Nobody ever saves the lousy ones.
So you may ask yourself why keep going out to shoot when you are not very good at it? Well, it is just like golf and sex, you may not be very good at it but it sure is a lot of fun.
