Part of trying to get back into the daily posting is realizing that there isn't too much excitement around here that needs photographing or talking about. So I have to make do with whatever is going on. We always go to church on Sunday morning. I look forward to seeing friends whom we have know for almost 40 years. Today was a pleasant day.

The culinary objective today was a sous vide steak. I like that method very much, and I always get a satisfying result. Ginny wanted broccoli and I made some cauliflower puree. In order to get a nice result for the steak, you have to sear it in a very hot frying pan which produces lots of crusty stuff for making a sauce. It was a good meal.

As you can see, I have a long way to go in order to produce a decent photo of food.
