When we come to Oregon it is all about visiting people. Ginny grew up here and there are tons of relatives. I didn't grow up here, so I don't feel the need to visit, but I know which side of the bread the butter is on. We started out with a visit to Ginny's mom. She was a lot better today so we had a nice conversation.

Then we went to visit Ginny's sister Patty and her husband Rick (today's photo). They are filbert farmers. We took them to lunch then spent some time back at their house visiting. After that we had a free afternoon. Back at the hotel we both worked on projects and relaxed. We came independently to the conclusion that visiting people is a lot harder and more exhausting than doing the stuff we do on road trips.
