Day 18 September 10

Last day of this short trip. We really had a lot of fun along the way. The week in Nashville was a hoot. Visiting the kids is always a hoot. So today the drive was from Covington, LA, to home in Houston. That is about 330 miles which took us 5 1/2 hours including a pit stop along the way. Fortunately, there were no traffic problems. So our trip was only 2444.5 miles in 18 days (135 miles per day). It is good to be home, but I really like being out on the road with Ginny. That is an experience that is impossible to beat. Life is good.
