So we were going into the grocery store today. They had shrimp on sale. We like shrimp. So I said to Ginny, "How about shrimp and grits for lunch today?" Some time ago my friend Chris Gibbins featured a shrimp and grits recipe that included bacon. I reacted by saying that I had never had it that way. So this was the perfect time to give it a try. Guess what, it was terrific. I will always make it this way in the future. Thanks Chris for the lead! Actually, I should have known better because bacon goes well with just about anything. The chopsticks are there just for the heck of it.
