Every once in a while something happens that is quite memorable. Today was one of those days. My best friend from childhood and the best man at my wedding was in town for an American Heart Association meeting where the American Heart Association’s Council on Epidemiology and Prevention awarded him the 2019 Epidemiology and Prevention Mentoring Award. Pretty cool. We got together with him last night for dinner and had a grand time with good food and drink and over three hours of conversation. It doesn't get much better than that. Life is good.
