Our house remodeling project is getting to the end, slowly. One thing Ginny is very good at is making curtains and drapes. She has made all of them for our house over the 39 years we have lived here. Today she was busy making the curtains for my workroom/bedroom upstairs. As you might imagine, this is a big project with lots of cutting and sewing. Those 4H skills are still very much in evidence with the things she does. One nice thing is that our entire first floor in tiled with 16 inch slate tiles. That is a ready made grid to lay things out for measuring and cutting. She has a methodology developed over many years of curtain manufacture and her results are always professional. As you might imagine, there is a lot of well deserved pride in her results. Good job Ginny.
