Last night Ginny got a call from Ken and Mickie. These are old friends of ours who now live in Pensacola. Their boys grew up with our boys while Ken was an astronaut here in Clear Lake. They were in town and wanted to get together. Ginny invited them for lunch today which was perfect because we already had a feast of chicken fajitas on the menu. The reason for the fajita lunch was that I was going to try out my new tortilla press. The inaugural event with the press was very successful. I made a bunch of flour tortillas which we prefer to corn tortillas. In the end it was an excellent lunch. As always there was enough food to feed an additional four people.

We had a great time eating and talking. At the end, Ginny insisted on a group photo. She loves to do this and we have lots of photos of ourselves with friends. In the end we made prints of a couple and Ginny put together a nice card to send to them thanking them for the good time we had. Life is good.
