One family tradition we have followed since 1987 is to sit down and make a list of all the good things that happened during the year. Thus we have built up an archive of family history. The first ones were things like Richard started first grade and Robert lost a tooth. Today the list was mostly what Ginny and I did during the year and it included visits with the kids and grand kids. I think it is a very good exercise. It makes me realize how fortunate we are. Sure there are not so good things that happen, but those are overwhelmed by all the good stuff.

Today's photo is of Ginny acting as scribe for the adventure. We ended up with over a hundred line items. Life is good.
