I went out to the airport today for the first time in months. I still need to get my top overhaul and annual inspection finished. It was an interesting time because I found out some things from an IA here on the airport. First of all, one of the FBOs on the airport does transponder certifications. Second, there is a simple (but expensive) solution for ADS-B requirement that is coming up in 2020. It is supposed to be a device that you replace your wingtip lights with that serves as lights and ADS-B out. Those were two things that have been bugging me, and now I seem to have a suitable way to handle them.
