Day Twenty Five
It was a very good day. We visited our friends Bruce and Terry in Fairfax, VA. Bruce, Ginny and I were in the folk group at the Tech Catholic community when we were all in grad school. Those were definitely very good times. Fond memories all around. We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable day with them catching up on stuff and just talking. We took a short hike to nearby Blenheim, a farm house used as a hospital during the Civil War. It was closed, unfortunately. The big attraction was the graffiti that the soldiers left on the walls. We had a good dinner out and back home for more fellowship. They have promised to visit us in Houston next spring. Life is good.
