McDonalds is a place we stop at a lot when we are on our road trips. Mostly we get the crispy chicken salads for our evening meal. At the end of the day we like to hole up in our hotel room and work on stuff. Anyway, we kept seeing that there is McDonalds app for our smart phones. I think there is an app for about every retailer in the world. I downloaded the app and we decided to give it a try in Greenville, AL. There was a great coupon for any sandwich for $1. So we got one. Later on in the day we used the $2.00 off any $10.00 purchase when we got our salads in the afternoon in Ponchatoula where we were spending the night. That was a good deal.

Well, the next day we decided see what othere deals we would like to take advantage of. There were none. We used the two good ones and all that was left were ones we have no interest in. Buy one 4 piece McNugget and get a second one free. Stuff like that. We weren't going to be enticed into stuff we don't want. So it will be interesting to see when the deals get recharged and there is something we want. I think we are going to try the Chick-Fil-A app next. We really like their spicy chicken sandwiches.
