We stayed the night in Roanoke, VA. Today was the third and shortest driving day of the trip. As we moved along the interstate, the snow started. It was light and did not accumulate on the road. The road was warm enough to melt it. I think they had also treated the road in anticipation of the snow fall. So we were able to keep a good pace, arriving at Richard's house about 2pm. The family got home about 5:30 pm and we had a nice dinner and played with the grandsons. Of course, the best part for Ginny was reading to the kids. They love books, especially if they are about trucks, cars or planes. Life is good for grandmother.
