So the Astros are in the World Series. I am not the type that watches sports on TV. I really don't follow sports at all. What it comes down to is that once in a while some event is happening that sparks my interest. The World Series is one of those things, this year anyway. If the Astros weren't playing, I wouldn't watch it.

Ginny and I decided that we should watch the game in style. After quite a bit of contemplation it was decided that chili dogs and beer were just the ticket. For us, a good chili dog is way beyond being suitable for eating by hand. You need a knife and fork. Although the hot dog is an integral part of the whole thing, the chili, onions, mustard, bun and jalapenos all play leading roles. Sometimes grated cheese is added. Not today.

So we sat in front of the TV and enjoyed the game. Although the Astros lost 3-1, it was a really good game. Excellent pitching and fielding. Fun to watch. Tomorrow is another game. We will be watching.
