I was downloading some photos from Ginny's G16 camera this morning. When I tried to put the SD card back in it wouldn't go in all the way. That is a bad thing for sure. We were all ready to buy a new G16 when we found out that it has been discontinued. The new equivalent camera is the G7X MK2. So we did a bunch of internet searching to find out about the G7X Mk2. I kept trying to get the card back into the camera. I looked down the slot and couldn't see anything in there. Ginny found some information that indicated even a tiny bit of debris can bugger up the works. I got some canned air and gave it a good dose. Finally I decided to give it a mighty push because there was nothing to lose if I broke it. Miraculously, it went in and latched. And it came back out again. Now it seems to be working just fine.

As you all know, a small camera case usually has a little pocket where you can store a replacement battery and SD card. I checked the pocket in Ginny's camera and this is what I found: A card with our name on it, a spare SD card, a spare battery and some lipstick. I shouldn't have been surprised. Ginny is a girl you know and girls have a need to keep a few additional spare items around. The little pocket in my camera case does NOT contain lipstick!
