Project Day 93 - Exile Day 43 - Some things you just don't think about too much. One of those things is the simple door stop. All of the baseboards were removed and along with them all of the door stops. Now that the doors are all installed again, it is a real good idea to install all the door stops. By my count there are about ten of them. And so today, as a minor mark of progress toward the goal, the new door stops were installed. Remember, I am easily amused.

I had been assigned the task of looking into phones. That was done with great diligence on my part. Today I made a visit to the AT&T store to check things out. There were no other people in the store. A very nice young man talked to me about options. There was a lot to learn. By the time I left there were two alternatives. First we could replace our flip phones. Some time ago when I checked they didn't sell the flip phones in the AT&T store, but now they do. There are three models available. Second we could upgrade to the 21st century and get smart phones. I came back with all the cost information about that option. Upon hearing the options all Ginny said was,"That is too expensive." Looks like two soup cans and a string are in our future for a long time to come.
