After the excitement of the mass ascension in the morning, we returned for the evening show which was a "glow". The way the burners work is that the pilot can choose which type of flame he wants. One flame is blue and hot and the other is bright yellow. The latter is what they use for the glow. There were about 100 balloons inflated and tethered on the field. They would coordinate the burns which made for a very impressive show.
After the glow, there was a laser light show which was nice. The finale was a stupendous fireworks display. I love stuff that explodes. I tried to take pictures, but what I really wanted to do was just watch the extravaganza. We really enjoyed the show. Life is good!
