I decided to get off my tail today and take some photos. There were some nice clouds out at Bay Area Park so I decided to go try some time lapse photography. I have done this before, but I am a real beginner. It was hot as hell so I found a nice shady spot to set up the tripod. I use my old 5D Mk2 for this effort. When you consider that you are making a 1080P video, you realize that shooting the smallest image is more than enough. You get a 2784X1856 image at about 5.1 megapixels with about a 2.1 MB file size (otherwise 6 MB). So I shot a couple sequences and headed home to see what I got. I used Lightroom to make the video. I thought it was pretty neat, but then again I am easily entertained. Here it is: https://youtu.be/oSm6IBZaYBs
Youtube rendered it is a way that makes it look out of focus. I also need to see what dimensions are best for YouTube. I am sure there is an optimization to be had.
