I came across this one today during my scanning project. We met in graduate school at MIT, both working on doctorates in chemistry. I liked to fool around with fun stuff in the lab, and putting dry ice in water to make smoke was one of my favorite things. So, I guess I was hacking about when Ginny showed up, and somebody shot this one of the two mad scientists working of their intelligence elixir (1973). It didn't work.

There is a fine line between tinkering
and research. I assure you that the
world was eagerly awaiting my thesis
on the synthesis and reactions of
1,2-diazacyclopropanones. Well, at least
I was.

Unauthorized tinkering with university equipment
and supplies. Lives placed in danger. Wastefulness.
MIT should revoke whatever degrees were awarded to those delinquents!
