I have been working on composite photos like the one of the airplane a few days ago. Today I decided to see if I can get some of birds taking flight or landing. I went out to Bay Area Park, of course, and set up by the peanut covered picnic table. Plenty of birds around. I got this five exposure shot of Mrs. Cardinal repositioning herself at the table. I was using the high speed continuous shooting setting. So, Mrs. Cardinal changed positions in less that a second. These little devils are fast. You end up with a situation where if you are zoomed in on the bird, you only get one frame, at best, of the bird taking off.
And so I will continue to fool around with this technique. It is fun.
