We headed into Boston today. It was a little short of two hours to get there. I will tell you that I don't like driving in Boston at all, but that is the price you pay to see some things. Fortunately, a lot of things to see are on the subway line. We visited the Commonwealth Museum which was interesting. Then we were faced with a choice between visiting another museum or visiting a brewery. The latter choice won. Both of us were ready for some entertainment.

So we went to the Samuel Adams Brewhouse. It is a place where they brew some experimental products but do not brew any real production for sale. Our tour guide was quite interesting and funny and we ended up the tour with a few beers. I liked their Boston Lager and I think Ginny did as well. To me, some of these specialty brews are not very refreshing. I don't like to drink beer that I have to think about. Actually, I don't like to do much of anything I have to think about. That takes all the fun out of it.

We checked into our accommodations in Cambridge. It was something that Ginny found on Air BNB. It was a nice house with rooms for two parties. There is also a nicely appointed kitchen. There was a Whole Foods Market just three blocks away so we headed out to get some food since we are going to be here six nights. Well, now I understand why they refer to it as the whole Paycheck Market. It was ungodly expensive, yet it was quite busy. I think there is some snob appeal to saying that is where you shop. Amongst certain groups that might bring high creds, but to me it means that you are simply stupid. They don't have the kind of stuff I want. There were no "real" hot dogs like Ball Park Franks or Armour. You could have you selection of all sorts of free range turkey franks, vegetable franks and some things that I thought might have been retrieved from the sidewalk outside the store. Anyway, it was fun to see the pretentious shoppers and employees carefully selecting and stocking the food items. I should write a short story about it, but that would require thinking which is something I try to avoid.
