I have managed to get an occasional photograph of them watching me. They warned us of this at the academy many times. Trust no one. That is not an X-Files phrase, it is an academy admonition. Hoo Boy, I took that one to heart.
We went up to the observation deck at the Empire State Plaza in Albany. From the moment I stepped out of the elevator, I had this suspicion that I was being observed. Each time I wheeled and looked, I would only see a set of binoculars with a slot for a quarter. I was getting a little angered by these guys, so I resorted to the greatest photography ruse that I could think of. I have to admit that I didn't learn it at the academy. I learned it at the Richmond Lock under the direction of the world's greatest webcam artist, John Cooper. And it worked. I can't disclose the details of the particular technique that I used, but John (and of course BEC) will know the method. Here is captured one of them looking at me before he could turn around and present his vending machine side.
