We finally cut the cord with DirecTV today. I will say we enjoyed the programs while we had them, but we have had the service suspended for 4 months and realized that we just don't miss it at all. That saves us about $1400 per year. You can buy a lot of beer for that kind of money. If you are a sports addict, you might not be able to turn it off. I don't watch sports. No problem.

We can receive broadcast television.
Ginny likes to watch Jeopardy.
I don't.
Occasionally something comes along on PBS.
We have a 60 inch flat screen upstairs and
broadcast TV looks pretty good. Now if there
was some interesting content.
Currently using Hulu to watch Twilight Zone
and X Files. When I feel like it, that is.

So no TV feed at all John, or are you just watching off-air. Glenn Beck needs you

I get the same look John gets. I got rid of Comcast over a year ago. I love baseball and hockey, but they're not my life.

John - I like to watch the Super Bowl, but
that is about it.

Dave - I will just have to deal with it.

Good for you, John.
But what about Roller Derby?

John, I never ever watch sport on my TV, or anywhere.
I have had people stand back in amazement with an incredulous look on their face and say "what, you never watch any sport, I don't believe it" when I tell them.
Its a funny old world.
