We drove back home from our road trip today. We were gone 2 days short of two months. We spent seven weeks with Richard, Christiane, Andrew and Austin. We spent two weekends with Robert, Laura and Peyton. We visited Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and Fort Monroe. We crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. We saw lots of friends and did lots of touring in Pennsylvania and Delaware. It was fun.

The trip from Alpharetta to our house in Houston is about 820 miles. Ocean Springs, MS is the midway point. The whole drive is about 13 1/2 hours. On this road trip we put 5553 miles on the car. Not the longest we have ever done in terms of distance, but certainly among the best in terms of enjoyment.
