Today was a day to work up four batches of my home brew whisky. These had been soaking for 13-16 weeks which is longer than usual. Working up the batches is a little tedious, but someone has to do it. Right now I am up to recipe #28 and the results are getting acceptable. As a matter of fact, I rather like them now. I am certainly not a whisky connoisseur. I just like the stuff. I have probably mentioned before that it would be fun to find a local "club" to find some people who really know their stuff. In the mean time, I will enjoy the fruits of my labor.

It is called a graduated cylinder. I found that my accuracy using a 2 cup measuring cup was not very good. It did not, however, have a detrimental effect on the taste of the whisky.

Thak is a nice measuring flask (or whatever it is called).
Accuracy of measurement is important. Cheers!
