Unfortunately, this was a sad day for us. We got word that Ginny's father was gravely ill and by the evening we heard that he had passed away. That means we will have to head back to Oregon for the funeral on Tuesday. Since we could not get a return flight to the USA until Saturday morning we decided to spend the day touring in Reykjavik. There is quite a bit to see here. Icelandic history is very interesting. By late afternoon we had walked enough and decided to head back to the hotel and take it easy since we needed to get up early for our ride to the airport. We are going to reschedule this trip to next summer. I don't want to miss it.
