Happy New Year everybody. I was looking at what I posted last year and it is quite clearly a little sparse. Although we did a lot of traveling and a lot of photography, I didn't get much posted on pbase. One of the reasons was that I was putting quite a bit of stuff from our travels on Facebook. The reason is that I have a lot of high school classmates that I keep track of and it is a good way to get the photos seen. I have to admit as well that when I am in town (only half the year last year, I am not doing as much photography as before. Therefore, a daily posting with new material is hard to do. I like what my friend John Cooper does with his back to summer pictures during the miserable winter in Putney. Maybe I will do the same.
Over the last two months I have revived my film scanning project and have completed 55 rolls since the first half of November. That makes over 140 in total. I intend to keep up the pace on that one, especially since it appears that I have the bugs worked out in the workflow, equipment and software. I should post more of those photos.
So, here's to a great new year with all my pbase friends. Looking forward to seeing what you all have to post. |
