We had a lot of fun today. We headed up through Amish country to Lancaster, PA. First stop was Wheatland, James Buchanan's home. We had a very nicely done tour of the building. I didn't know much about this obscure President, so the discussion was informative. After that we headed to Lancaster Brewing Company for lunch. The food was good and the beer was also good. Then we went to Lititz and visited the Sturgis pretzle factory and Wilbur Chocolates. Today's photo is of Ginny and Christiane enjoying an ice cream in Lititz. After a quick stop in Intercourse, PA, at the Kitchen Kettle Village, we headed home. Lotsa fun for all. |
