We had another great day with Pieter and Rix. They took us to Orvelte which is an exhibit of life in the early days of Holland. Although the weather was not so good, we had fun. One of the cool things was watching the glass blower. He made this bowl in less than thirty minutes while talking and really doing a good job of entertaining. Although it was mostly in Dutch, we could follow what was going on. He would also give the important parts in English. Rix and Pieter explained the jokes to us. Afterward, we went to Assen to get a train back to Amsterdam. It is sort of funny that Amsterdam feels like home. We even got the same hotel room we had before. A couple more days in Holland then we hit the road on our cruise. Our visit with Pieter and Rix was a whole lot of fun. They are great friends to hang out with.
