We traveled to Venlo today to visit the Floriade. It is a big exposition that happens every ten years. Ginny has been excited about this since she first heard of it. The bus ride down there was two and a half hours. We had fun roaming around the place. It was not what we expected, however. We thought it was a big flower show. It turned out to be a sort of mini world's fair. There were a number of countries represented, but not that many, really. Today's photo is of the flower exposition hall. There were quite a few flowers there. Unfortunately, whoever did the lighting design certainly did not have photographers in mind. I would say I was glad we went there, but I am not going to hurry back in ten years to see the next one.
