I am into the annual on the Cessna this week. As I have remarked before, the part that gives me the most anxiety is doing the compression check. Happily, this year all the jugs were saflely in the 70s. I always write the compression on the valve cover as I measure them. Over the weekend I finished the engine compartment which involves cleaning, testing and rotating the spark plugs, checking timing and spark plug leads, inspecting for cracks, etc., and checking and lubricating the engine controls. Here the engine is all back together again awaiting the installation of the baffles and cowling. Should be finished this week.
