We had a celebratory dinner out today at the Saltgrass Steak House, a family favorite place. The occasion was two-fold. First we were celebrating David's new job. He found a job in neighboring Pasadena, Texas and has been at it for about a month. He is happy and we are happy. Second we were celebrating my birthday which is later this week. Saltgrass is a really good Texas style restaurant. We all had steaks, of course. I also had some fried shrimp. Ginny and David had a first rate chicken taco soup for a starter. It was fun and the food was good. Only one teensy problem, the wait staff didn't know the beer menu. Definitely a no-no as far as I am concerned.
