It was a beautiful day. I had a brand new battery to install in the Cessna so I headed out to the airport and put it in. The old battery had lasted about four years, which I consider to be pretty good for airplane batteries. I flew around the pattern for a while. It was windy and bumpy so I decided to call it quite after three. My radio had been squealing and I decided to see if cleaning the contacts might make it better. It took a few minutes to figure out how to remove it, but I finally figured it out. I cleaned the contacts and put a little contact grease on them and put it back together. It seemed to work just fine. I will have to flight test it soon. Anyway, after lunch at our favorite Tex Mex joint, we headed back to the hangar and this Coastie helo was doing circuits. I pulled out my camera and started blasting away.
