November 22, 2010

They said it was going to snow out here this evening, and by golly it actually did. Taking photos of the snow fallling is always a challenge. A flash freezes the flakes and makes for a nice effect. One of these days I am going to try using the flash with a colored gel and see what happens. That might be interesting.

John, every person in England who does not work for the railway has suggested that.
Now we need to find a railway employee who has the ability to understand that.

Thats enough time wasted, think I will have a small Drambuie, while I think about solving another problem.

You would think some smart British engineer could be able to design a railroad gadget that blows the leaves off the tracks. Just thinking....

That much snow will bring London to a stand still.
English management cannot cope with any change in the weather.
Last week there was a report about British Rail.
A train over ran a station and was unable to stop for two and a half miles.
The reason,,,there were leaves on the line.
It happens every year.

snow at night is a challenge especially when you need a subject in your picture. Finding somebody to stand out there is not that easy.

Nice shot. We have five inches of the white stuff. It will melt in the next few days: rain is forecast.
