We are spending a little over two weeks on the farm out here in Oregon. Ginny and I have our "quarters" in an old double wide that is really used mostly for storage of her mom's stuff. Our only internet access on the farm is a dial up. We can do down the street to North Plains where there is a McDonald's that has free WiFi. Not bad, a cup of coffee and some high speed internet. I get the senior citizen's price for coffee at McDonald's so that is a good deal. There is another alternative, however. I prefer the pizza joint Geraldi's where the owner Gus allows free access to his WiFi system. Additionally, in place of coffee there is beer. What a concept! I don't get a senior citizen's discount, but his prices are cheap to begin with. He has several good pale ales on tap. So about today's picture. I am sitting in my little office surfing the net on a dial up. You get a lot of free time when you are doing that, so I choose to fill the blank moments by playing spider solitaire. My tactics have evolved over the years and I am getting pretty good at it. That is not a skill, however, that I am likely to brag about, especially if Ginny is in the room.
