This is a real by gosh Tasmanian Devil photographed at a wildlife park in Tasmania, of course. Even though he looks quite fierce here, he is really just yawning. Turns out they do that a lot. These little fellas look pretty cuddly, but they are certainly not lap pets. They fed a wallaby hind quarter to this guy, and you could hear the bones cracking as he enjoyed his snack. These guys have recently become more endangered in the wild because of some virus that is going around. The ones in the park, however, are safe from that. That is a good thing. Funny, this guy really doesn't resemble the Warner Brothers character. I always liked that character the best, except for Yosemite Sam.
