It was another beautiful day here in the Olympic Peninsula. Temperatures in the 70s and bright sunshine. After church we went on a nice hike to Merrymere Falls. It was very pleasant. We also hiked a short nature trail that was very informative about the old growth forest around here. We also went to Sequim (pronounced skwim, one syllable) to see what was up there. We stopped at the visitor's center at 3:05 pm, but it closed at 3 pm. The guy inside opened back up. Seems that Sequim completely shuts down at 5pm. We drove to the John Wayne marina. It was a marina, that's all I can say. The only other big whoopies here are restaurants and lavender farms. All I can say is that I am glad we didn't plan a whole day there.
