Time in Houston is getting short for us. On Thursday we leave for a couple weeks in Scotland. After returning here for a few days we leave for Oregon for 11 weeks. It is going to be a great summer. Our friend Pat is going to have a bunch of fun as well. She is heading off for a couple weeks in Europe with her daughter Rachel. They are going to Ireland and Spain. Since we are gone all summer, Pat agreed to babysit our herb pots. We hauled them over to her house and put them in the back yard. I came to realize that this was a lame excuse developed by Ginny and Pat to have a Wine and Whine party. This time they decided that they would have limoncello in place of wine. Pat pulled the bottle out of the freezer and the ladies enjoyed. I was allowed two trips to the famous beer drawer in Pat's refrigerator. Pat is a great friend. Life is good.

I ended up with a homework assignment. She had a couple of old photos of herself with her GTO which I agreed to try scanning and fixing up. I am interested to see how they come out. Stay tuned.
