For the first time in weeks I went out to take pictures just for the hell of it. I chose my favorite spot - Bay Area Park - without much hope of good stuff. It was a cloudy day in the winter. Not a lot of color around under those conditions. I started looking at the sky and noticed that there was quite a bit of structure to the clouds. So, I picked this tree and fired a few in hopes of some sort of artsy fartsy result. It turned out fairly interesting. I did not convert this to B&W. These are the true colors. Jeez, I hate winter, even if it is 70F outside. Bring on the colors!
I think your day's adventure outside was worthwhile and I applaud your efforts. I do.. I wonder what this would look like if you rotated it in a portrait format?? just a thought. I'm taking this (only mentally, as an anniversary present, John...smile. I'm sorry I never answered your cute remark about Harkos hearing chocolate..smile. Cheers and keep shooting..I like your what you see.. all the best, cristine
