I had a nice long day at the hangar. The Swift annual is progressing nicely, and I am almost at the end of taking stuff apart. Now it is time to fix stuff that needs fixing. The worst part of this whole process is that the propeller came under an airworthiness directive because of possible cracks in the hub. I bought a new hub and tomorrow I will take it to the prop shop for installation. That is a very expensive undertaking. I turned up a lot of things that need attention that I intend to take care of. Some are simple, some will require a bit of work. In the end the old Swift will be in tip top shape. I am looking forward to getting airborne again in this plane.

My entire tool set is powered by hot air pressure.

Is that a bucket of prop wash next to the propeller?
