This is the Hoffman family from California. They stopped by my neck of the woods today for a quick visit to Fort Clatsop. This photo was taken out behind the fort. We have a bunch of costumes that visitors like to put on for pictures. Jeanine (mom) is a second cousin of Ginny's. Her maternal grandmother is Alida Coussens VandenBerghe, the youngest sister of Ginny's paternal grandfather Ben Coussens. Jeanine's mother is Agnes VandenBerghe Gainey. So, that is the genealogy portion which Ginny wanted me to record for posterity. Jeanine, her husband Keith and Angie (3) and Neil (8) spent two hours at the fort and another hour in the gift shop. The kids really wanted to get some stuffed animals. I didn't see what the result was, but Keith seemed to be getting sucked in. It was a beautiful day, and we had a real good time.
